Électricité du Laos (EDL) undertook a project to install the Automation SCADA System to monitor, control, and manage the 115 kV high-voltage electrical transmission network, enabling the interconnection of the power systems between Laos’ electrical network and Cambodia’s electrical network at the Ban Hat Substation in southern Laos. – The company was responsible for the design and development, as well as testing, report approval, installation (including CT, VT, PMU, Automation I/O instrumentations, TCP/IP networks, and wiring of electrical cables), software development, customer service, and system commissioning.

The project involved installing a SCADA automation system to control, monitor, manage, and record data on the connection status, production status, power transmission status, and distribution status of 22 kV medium-voltage electric power from the Nam Xong Hydroelectric Power Station to the Laos electricity grid. – We were responsible for the design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of systems, as well as report approval, installation (including CT, VT, PMU, automation I/O instrumentation, TCP/IP fiber optic networks, and electrical cable wiring), software development, customer service, and system commissioning.
